Singer/songwriter Katie Dineen writes about the little moments of everyday life and infuses even the melancholic with resolute hope. Drawing influence from 1960’s folk and contemporary dream pop, Katie blends an earthy, indie sound with uniquely nostalgic lyricism. Accompanying herself on guitar and occasionally keys, Katie performs both solo and with her band.

Music has always been an integral part of her life, but post pandemic, Katie began hosting a weekly open mic, which was her catalyst to start songwriting. As her songwriting deepened, her desire to cultivate a commmunity around it took form in the Pensacola Songwriter Rounds, a monthly show series intended to grow and support the Pensacola music scene.

Only five years into pursuing music, Katie has shared the stage with artists like Sixpence None The Richer, Japanese Breakfast, Dashboard Confessional, Eric Lindell, Kevn Kinney, Sarah Lee Guthrie, Grayson Capps, and other seasoned musicians.

Her debut album This One’s For You (2024) is a mix of full-band and stripped-down, acoustic songs. A ten-track record, This One's For You is meant to feel like a cup of coffee in the morning: an invitation to wake up, sit down and feel what's on the heart. This One’s For You invites the listener to slow down and notice the wildflowers, literally and metaphorically.

Katie’s next album is currently in process. Stay tuned for upcoming releases and touring!
